October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

The American Samoa Community Cancer Coalition reminds women that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  Breast cancer is the leading cause of cancer deaths in American Samoa.  To help reduce the chances of developing this disease, visit the Department of Health's Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program in Faga'alu or call 633-2135.  Also, consult with your local physician.
