WOMEN'S HEALTH OPPORTUNITY
Soon, the Immunization Program will offer a vaccine to girls aged 7 to 12. It helps protect girls from 4 types of the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) 2 of those types cause 70% of all cervical cancers. Cervical cancer was the 2nd leading cause of cancer deaths for women in American Samoa. Would you like to learn more about this vaccine and other ways that women can prevent cervical cancer?
