Mr. Faletusi Uesile Faaiu was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2015. He was advised to resign from his work at the canneries because of his health condition.
Today, Mr. Faaiu receives his $500 cancer patient stipend after his dialysis appointment at LBJ. He shares his gratitude to all the contributors who fund the cancer patient stipend program.
Mr. Faaiu resides in Tafuna and says he’ll use his money to help pay his fare to Vancouver, Washington where he does his cancer follow-up appointments.
ASCCC wishes Mr. Faaiu a safe trip next month and praying that he soon will be cancer free.
